Our new home

We feel so very blessed to be able to live in this beautiful home. We really wanted to be able to buy a house but it didn't seem like that was going to work for us. We kept looking online for things to rent and it just seemed like we were going in circles.  I really wanted to be able to live in a house even if it was something small I just didn't want to life in an apartment. We found a lot of nice places but we were unsure of the area or there would be a really high fee to just apply for the place. We have been so blessed with the places we have lived in our short married life that we never had to worry about wondering if the landlord would be good or honest or whatever. Tommy was saying how he wished we could just find a member from the church to be able to rent from. He mentioned how he wished there was a website out there. Well he googled it and there actually is one. It is called ldshousing.net. We checked it and it seemed like it was more for college students looking for roommates. We were a little discouraged and about to just find an apartment when Tommy decided to check LDS housing one last time. Needless to say we found this beautiful home for the same price apartments were going for. We were thrilled. We thought it was too good to be true. We contacted the landlord and set up a time to check it out. Long story short we ended up being blessed to rent this home. We couldn't believe it. Often I still feel that it is just too good to be true.  I feel so lucky and knew that Heavenly father was truly looking out for us. When we met with the landlord I just felt such peace. I feel like we are doing them a favor taking care of the house they want to retire in and they are doing us a favor as well. They told us that some of our rent goes to helping with the missionary fund. We both were just thrilled about that. Both serving missions and having others donate generously to us makes it even more special to us. Sorry for so many pictures but I have had some people ask to see pictures so here they are. We are in heaven and hope if we have any friends or family who are in the area that are passing through or coming to Az to please feel free to come visit us. We even have a guest bedroom. =)
