A Birthday to Remember

Tommy can never do simple for me. I always feel so spoiled by him on my birthday or at Christmas. He is so good to me. He knows how much I love rodeos and we found one that just happened to be on my birthday. We have decided to make it a tradition to go to a rodeo every year. We found this hat a few months ago and decided it would be fun to wear to the rodeos. He went out shopping for me on Tuesday night and was looking everywhere for cowgirl boots. He knew I had been looking for a while and he ended up finding some. They had like 4 different styles and he wanted to make sure he got the ones I would like the best. He ended up telling me the night before my birthday. We went to pick them up real quick and the store didn't have my size. He had them call around and we found a store that had my size about 40 minutes away. He said let's go get them. So we did. I felt so spoiled and it wasn't even my birthday yet. On my actual birthday he went and got some of our favorite breakfast burritos for us. I was lucky because I had a training for work. Mom and I actually got to go to the training together since we have the same job just at different schools so that was a lot of fun. I got to work a short day which is always nice.
So we were trying to find a country feel restaurant to eat at before the rodeo. I had decided the Toby Keith bar and grill looked like fun and it was on the way to the rodeo. We decided to give it a try and ended up loving it. It was really fun how they had country music playing and we got to sit really close to the stage. On my way to work I was listening to this country song on the radio. called trailer hitch. I decided I kind of liked it. The message talks about how you can't take things with you with you die and how he wonders why people wanna die rich. Well after they played his song they said that he would be doing a free concert at the restaurant where we just happened to decide to eat at. I was so excited. Way to make the day even more eventful and for free. That is my favorite way to celebrate anything. It gets even better. We thought it would be crowded so we got there early. We were seated right away. We found they were even having a meet and greet where we got to meet Kristian Bush. He was really nice and it was kind of fun to meet a star. We learned that he is the singer from Sugarland. Not sure if they broke up but we were excited.
We invited mom and dad to go with us. Even though it was kind of simple it was so fun to be all together and spend time doing something we all enjoyed. The rodeo was fun. Not the best rodeo I have been to but still fun. We decied the Norco one was way better that the San Bernardino one.
