Update

This week has been a lot of school, school, and more school. I can honestly say I have loved learning. (Tommy would agree) Sometimes we let life get in our way and we don't really enjoy the things we are learning. We often get annoyed and just want to be done. I have found the more I put into school the more I am enjoying it. I am learning so much. We have really tried to change how we think about school and just try to make the best of it. We have found the more we do during the week nights the more fun we are able to have on the week end. So one of the things I found really cool this week was a speech given by Marcia Barlow, at BYU Idaho, she talked about her grandmother and referenced  the Madonna of the trial statues. She said there are 7 in the United States. Her speech was about how important the job of being a mother is. The point is as I saw the picture of the statue it looked so familiar to me and I realized that that's because it's on Euclid in Upland. We worked really hard on homework, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We had a really simple date night, dinner at farmer boys, ($12.00 for both our meals with a coupon.) and then we rented movies. We watched Captain Phillips. It definitely kept my attention the whole time.  We decided we were gonna work really hard on homework even after our date so that we could enjoy our Saturday. We actually finished around 1 pm on Saturday, which is unheard of for us. That evening we were invited for dinner and to hang out with my cousin Shaun and his wife Denise. There boys are so cute and were so well behaved. Also cousins Matt Hurdlick and his wife Sarah and baby were there too. We had such a fun time together. We ate crock pot ribs and just had fun catching up and bounding with each other. I am so sad I forgot to take a picture. We had a great night and look forward to doing it again sometime in the near future.
