Rugby Sevens

This past weekend we had the chance to go to the rugby sevens with Tommy's family. It was so much fun. We both decided how much we hate having homework. It is just stressful and makes it so you can't always enjoy life, but hey that's part of the process right. lol We actually got lucky and ended up getting most of it done in the morning on Saturday and we were able to enjoy the day. The weather was really nice, not too hot or too cold. We really enjoyed spending time together and getting away from the normal everyday life things. We found a cheap hotel online that had a pool and breakfast. Lets just say the best thing about the breakfast was the eggo's and I'm not a huge fan of waffles so that's saying a lot. At least it was free breaskfast though. We really enjoyed the hot tube there. It was so cold outside. (At least for us cali people) but it felt so good to get in there and it was so relaxing. We loved it. The tournament was really fun as well. Rugby is so interesting to me. It is easy to follow and a lot of fun. It reminds me a lot of soccer so that is probably why I like it. It amazes me how fast these guys run and quick they are to get up after being tackled. South Africa won the tournament. We were sad that Samoa didn't do that well. It was surprising that Canada beat them. We thought for sure they could win but they didn't so that was sad. A fan ran on the field during one of the games so that was interesting. After they got a bunch of security and they even had police on the field. It didn't do much. At the end of the game so many fans jump down on the field anyways. The police hand cuffed one guy and then I think they realized there was nothing they could do about it.
