4th of July

We had such a fun holiday season. Holidays make me even more excited for school to be over and done with. I only have 3 more weeks of school and I can not wait to be finished. It seems that school consumes so much of my time and its just annoying. So I basically tried to get a lot of homework done ahead of time so that I could enjoy the holiday. We were so excited to have Tommy's family come and visit us for the holiday. We have been lucky to meet the Jones family. They have been such a blessing to us since we moved to AZ. We often go to their house on Sundays to eat dinner and play games with them. It has been so nice to feel like we have more family here in AZ. Our 4th of July we enjoyed swimming at the Jones, amazing food, BBQ, a duck race, a fire show that our friend Sone did, and fireworks. We had so much fun. We are so happy they were able to come enjoy the holiday with us. wish we would have taken more pictures...

As I reflect on this holiday and the meaning it has I am so grateful to live in a free country. I grateful to all the family members, friends, and loved ones past and present who have served our country. I feel so lucky. As we were watching fireworks I told Tommy I wanted to hear some patriotic songs. I love music and it is a great way to remember this special day.
