Tommy's Birthday...

Tommys' Birthday was yesterday the 20th. Its always fun to celebrate. This year we did things very simply. A few weeks ago we came across a sound bar for the TV for a really good deal. We couldn't pass it up so that was Tommy's big gift for his birthday. He has been really happy with it. On Friday night we enjoyed spending time with my cousin Shaun and his wife Denise. They are always so nice to have us over and Denise is just so thoughtful. She asked what Tommy's favorite dessert was and we shared a really good oreo ice cream cake. They have been doing a lot of work to their backyard and we were able to talk and visit around their bonfire and music in their backyard. Seeing all their fun work makes us so excited to one day be able to have our own house. (In due time!) We really enjoy their company.

On Saturday we washed cars and helped dad with the changes around the house. We cleaned up early enough to go out to dinner. Tommy chose to eat sushi. So yummy. Dad was a little unsure at first but really liked it. It was fun to celebrate. We ran to some stores and get and hung out with our friend for a while. They have a pool/hot tub at their condos so we enjoyed that.
Tommy's actual birthday we went to church, came home, I cooked him enchiladas with help from dad and Courtney. He requested mud pie(ice cream, hot fudge, whip topping, and Oreo) for dessert. All of our favorite dessert. So good. If you can't tell Tommy LOVES Oreo's. John and Beca Merrill came over and played some games with us in the evening. Tommy told me last night that he had a really great weekend. Thanks everyone who helped us celebrate and wished him a happy birthday. It was really nice too, his parents and sisters sent him a package with tim tams. He was really excited about it.
