Raging Waters

I have to say this summer has been one of my favorite ones since we got married. I think the main reason for that is because we have had such a nice break from school. It has been so nice to not have to worry about homework, tests, papers, group work. We have really been able to enjoy being outdoors and doing things when we have time off from work. Its amazing how you really don't always realize your blessing or what you have until it is gone. Just having time to spend together is something that sometimes Tommy and I would take for granted. Having this time it has really made us grateful. This week Tommy started school again at the local community college. We decided to cram as much fun in before life got a little busier for him. He is such a hard working husband and willing to make sacrifices for our little family which I am so grateful for. He realizes how important an education is along with how important it is for a husband to go to work and provide for his family. We have been so blessed that he works for a wonderful company as well. They are willing to work with him and the classes that he needs at school. He is still able to work, but they are letting him come in an hour early 3 days a week along with leaving around noon so he can make it to class on time. This means he has really long days and doesn't get home until after 7 pm. Poor guy has come home with headaches and he is just so tired. But I am grateful like I said for his hard work and dedication. So anyways back to raging waters. When we were in San Jose we got season passes that would work in so cal as well. We had such a fun relaxing day. Its nice that we didn't have to stay the whole day either. Having passes makes it nice so that you can come and go when you want to. The weather was just hot enough that we were cold. I feel so blessed that I am married to my best friend and that we are able to spend time together. We have so much fun going on little outings just the 2 of us.
