interesting week

This week has been an interesting one. We were so excited that we finally got to enjoy our date we (or should I say Tommy) won at the rodeo. We had to go to Corona and we went to this place called uncle Bud's museum. We really had no idea what to expect. It ended up being pretty cool. So there is a room there that is a replica of the oval office in DC and they give tours to many students. It was actually very interesting and then they had this dinner. We felt very out of place. Alot of older people but it was fun and interesting. They gave us fake $500 to play casino games which was interesting since both of us have never gambled it was kinda fun. The coolest part was they had this wheel that we could spin and win gift cards and other prizes. I got so lucky I ended up winning $30 to macaroni grill, $25 shell gas card, and $10 to use on iTunes. That was most exciting to me.

 When we were about to leave I noticed that I had missed a phone call from my mom. I knew they had been traveling home from Utah and was thinking she was calling to tell me they got home safe. Well I guess she was in the emergency room. The last few weeks she has been having these weird pains and then she throws up and they go away. Well my dad said this time was much worse and that he would would not take my mom home. We ended up driving straight over there to see her. She looked like she was so exhausted and in so much pain. To make a long story short she ended up having surgery the next day. Shes been resting alot and seems to be recovering well. I am so glad she doesn't have that pain anymore. It was so scary to watch her be in pain like that.

Tommy's brother MJ came into town from Arizona for a friends wedding. It has been a lot of fun for them to spend time with each other. They love to play video games and watch football together. We met up with the twins in LA and did sealing's together. It was so nice to be able to be in the temple together and go where we were sealed. We don't go to that temple very often because Redlands is so much closer but it brought back so many wonderful memories. The weather was so beautiful with a nice breeze. Afterwards we went to to roscoes. I was so surprised they didn't like it more.

This week we start back at school. Its exciting to be learning again but our life is so different when we are in school. Its back to realty and not so much going out. ha ha. I am so excited though because we have decided it would be best if I quit one job. It will feel like I have so much more time on my hands I am very excited.
